First Consultation Meeting of IFAP National Committees

The IFAP Bureau, in cooperation with the UNESCO Secretariat and the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO, is organizing the First Consultation Meeting of IFAP National Committees in Moscow, Russia, December 7-8, 2009. The meeting will be hosted by the Russian IFAP Committee and the Interregional Library Cooperation Centre, and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture of Russia and UNESCO.

The purpose of the meeting is to review and discuss a common approach to promoting the goals of Information for All Programme and to implementing IFAP’s Strategic Plan for 2008-2013, as endorsed by the UNESCO Executive Board in October 2008, at both the global and national levels.
