IFAP special events at largest international conferences in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine

A number of IFAP special events on Information Preservation, Information Accessibility and Information Literacy took place the annual ADIT International conference for museum workers (Krasnodar, Russia, 8-10 June 2010 and Minsk, Belarus, 11-14 May 2011) and at the Annual International Crimea Conference (Sudak, Ukraine, 4-12 June 2010 and 5-13 June 2011) for librarians, archivists, educators, governmental officials, authors, publishers, content providers, copyright owners, which brought together around 1500 participants from 40 countries. At the 2011 Crimea Conference a special seminar on Open Access was organized in the presence of Ms Ellen Tise, IFLA President.
